We determine the monthly Industry multiples for the 18 DAXsector Prime-Standard sectors (German industry multiples) as well as for the 24 sectors of the S&P Europe Board Market Index (European industry multiples) and provide a monthly summary overview.
The plausibility of company valuations may be assessed by using multipliers derived from the P&L performance indicators (e.g. revenues, EBIT). These are however not suited to replace a company valuation as they only serve as approximations.
